The Government of Borno State is equipping the farmers in the state with modern farming machines..Despite all the security challenges, the government is still investing heavily in Agriculture, Worst hit by the Boko haram sect and the IDP's, the state government is still doing it's bit to lift the spirits of the people of the state, The newly acquired equipments will be distributed to farmers as part of Borno State plan for commercial agriculture. According to reports a university in the U.S. and the USAID have promised to provide technical assistance on the use and maintenance of these machines.
It is a known fact that without employment and poverty eradication, then the boko haram issue might not be solved soon. Providing equipments like this will go a long way in creating jobs which is a strong tool in De-radicalization & counter radicalization of the members of the sect.
