Kanu Nwankwo Publicly Disassociates Himself From His Sports Management Company

Former Super Eagles Captain, Kanu Nwankwo has publicly disassociated himself from a sports management company, CAPSTONE SPORTS MANAGEMENT, where he acts as a consultant on most sporting matters and also offers guidance to the company's sporting clients.

Capstone Sports Management was Established in 2007, by Samuel Okoronkwo Sr. in London, the company represents elite players and clubs in the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa......Capstone is also into talent development, sponsorship and brand endorsement etc... Recall that Capstone Company has had a running battle with Arsenal FC, when in 2013 Arsenal sued them £375,000 after an alleged bust-up over sandwiches..

The Gunners had launched a High Court writ against Capstone Sports Management that claims it stopped paying for executive seats at the Emirates Stadium when guests were prevented from eating their packed lunch.

Capstone also complained after club staff prevented its guests from slicing their own bread, according to the writ filed with the court...Arsenal claimed the company, said ‘the level of service and hospitality… was being deliberately compromised’ by catering sub-contractors at the stadium.

Capstone – which has offices in central London and Abuja in Nigeria – was allegedly obliged to pay a total of £465,000 in instalments for box number 48 up until 2016....But the club claims Capstone stopped making payments in April 2012.

Reasons for the separation between Kanu and Capstone was not readily available but in Statement released by Kanu Nwankwo this morning he made it clear that any Football stakeholders dealing with mr Samuel Okoronkwo of Capstone Sports Management UK is doing it on their own risk henceforth.
