Italian Cyclist Vittorio Brumotti Doctors May Remove His Eyeball ... After Brutal Attack

Things have gone from bad to worse for Italian cyclist Vittorio Brumotti ... the brutal roadside attack he suffered might cost him one of his eyes...As previously reported ... Brumotti was the victim of a heinous roadside ambush while on a ride in Northern Italy earlier this week.

Doctors are set to operate Monday to repair injuries from the attack ... and doctors have told Brumotti the damage is so severe, they may have to remove his right eye.

Brumotti posted a graphic picture of his face shortly after the incident which clearly showed the extent of the damage....Afterward, he made a public plea to his fans not to harbor ill will towards Albanians, who some believe may have been responsible for the attack.
